Art Dreaming provides an opportunity for indigenous students to proudly embrace their creative connection to identity and country. Authentic, open and supportive artistic educational experiences are established which are founded upon collaboration, experience and relationships.
Our developing indigenous artists use creative expression to learn about, nurture and value their cultural voice. Providing time to listen and resourcefully respond to the contemporary artistic challenges that surround them empowers meaningful participation. Connected communities are enriched via relevant inspirational speakers, guest artists and visiting Elders.
Art Dreaming is a platform of communication for young indigenous artistic learners, enabling the positive future directions of contemporary indigenous art in Western Sydney. We value and acknowledge the importance of sustaining indigenous cultures, our intent being that the next generation of creative cultural visionaries thrive.
