Our extra-curricular highlights
Musicals and productions
Our students have the opportunity to perform in exciting musical stage productions.
Creative and performing arts
Our CAPA extra-curricular programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Tiny Cave Concerts
Broadcast live to the playground during Monday recess, this special event transforms the school into a vibrant, open-air music venue where students can relax, connect, and celebrate our performers.
From original compositions to fresh takes on iconic tracks, Tiny Cave gives our young artists a platform to shine — all captured and recorded to share with our wider community.
Additional information
The competitive arena awaits students with the chance to excel in public speaking, debating, web design, student newspapers, environmental management and much more. Keep up to date with all the state-wide competitions that are running this year.
Explore the Arts Unit website to find out about state-based and national debating, public speaking and spelling events.
Excursions are arranged for students in Years 7–12 and are designed to complement the program of work being studied in class. Before attending a school excursion, parental permission must be provided. Permission notes are sent out to parents digitally via School Bytes to be filled and submitted.
When a class is taken on an excursion all students must wear full school uniform unless otherwise advised. Students are expected to behave in a responsible, safe and courteous manner, remembering the School Behaviour Code at all times. Students whose record of behaviour has been judged unacceptable may be placed on a “withdrawal of privileges” list that may prevent them from participating in excursions, school dances or other extra-curricular activities for a specified period of time.
